I\u2019ve seen Crest \u201cin action\u201d and am a firm believer in its proven track record for impacting mid-life leaders.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1471\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.scottcochrane.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/CrestLogo.jpg\" alt=\"Crest Logo\" width=\"150\" height=\"52\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">It was a pleasant surprise the first time I saw it. \u201cThe research shows that the richest contribution leaders make is usually <em>after<\/em> age 40.\u201d <strong>Surprising<\/strong>, because our culture says, \u201cIt\u2019s all downhill after 40.\u201d <strong>Pleasant<\/strong>, because I was 49 \u2013 I was not \u201cdone!\u201d In fact, it told me I had <em>much<\/em> to offer, probably my best ever.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">For decades we have emphasized the potential of youth, and invested heavily in children\u2019s and youth ministries. That\u2019s been good; but there is another huge potential that needs attention: leaders at midlife. Because it\u2019s not all good news there. Many are tired, even thinking of quitting. Life has delivered hard knocks, and things are not as clear as we used to think they were. We become aware that we need time to think again \u2013 deeply this time \u2013 but we are so busy we can hardly keep our balance. Our load continues to increase, and we are acutely aware that we need to improve our leadership.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1455\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.scottcochrane.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/dan_reinhardt.png\" alt=\"Dan Reinhardt\" width=\"100\" height=\"75\" \/>At CREST, we get it.
